Sophie + Mack:
"Homeward Hound is a boutique and highly personalized doggie adventure company. Kelsey is simply the most loving, conscientious and fun walker in town. I recently moved to Seattle from San Francisco for a job at Amazon. I take Sophie to work everyday but wanted to find an off leash playgroup for her to have some time to just be a dog. Kelsey is incredibly flexible - picking up and dropping off Sophie at either my house in Wallingford or at my office in South Lake Union depending on my schedule.
Sophie can't wait to see Kelsey everyday. No surprise since her afternoons are full of playtime at Magnuson Park where she swims and chases balls until her heart is content. When the group isn't swimming, they are playing in the field and going for long walks. Your dog will come home happy and pooped.
Kelsey is reliable and operates a great business - and most importantly, my dog LOVES her!"
"Kelsey of Homeward Hound is as good as it gets! I have used Homeward Hound for 2 years for our pup and they love each other so much! On the business side of things, she is reliable, professional, and very prompt to changes in any scheduling I may have. On the dog side of things, she is amazing. She doesn't have a huge pack of dogs with her and she is very mindful of the dynamic of those scheduled to walk on any particular day. I have spent a lot of time in the dog parks during the day when it is mostly dog walkers and I can say that Kelsey is without a doubt the best in the park! She uses positive reinforcement for good behavior and allows the dogs to have fun while keeping them safe. I would recommend her over and over again to anyone who is looking to have their pup exercised and loved when you can't do so!
Bonus; Kelsey is a trained photographer and I get the most amazing action shots of Theo on his outings!"
"Kelsey is the best! Our dog loves her, she loves our dog. She is incredibly accommodating and communicative. She really loves her job and is really, really good at it. And not all dog walkers are! She pays attention to each dog's personality and needs and helps that work toward being the best dog they can be. She won't take too many dogs at once. And she won't take dogs in the same pack that she knows won't play well together. Because she really does actually care about the dogs' happiness.
And you get (really good!) photos of your dog having fun on Homeward Hound's instagram account.
You will come home to a very happy and tired dog that resembles one of these: Dogs Who Just Can't Handle Being Awake Today"
